Bentley knows he’s not supposed to stand, sit, lay, step, or otherwise think about interfering with my computer. He desperately wants some attention, though, so his new strategy is to position himself really, really, really close to the laptop. Now I am unable to type without my arm grazing his shoulder. He’s purring.

My lack of posting lately is entirely indicative of how all-consuming school has become over the last few weeks. Add an upcoming trip to New Orleans over spring break and you can guarantee I’m not sleeping as much as I used to.
In the mean time, the great Simon Tofield has created a new cartoon about feline behavior that many will instantly recognize. This cartoon in particular reminds me of Leo and Charlotte, who belong to Nick’s brother and his wife.

Damn those felines! We thought they’d dance on our heads all night long last night as punishment for leaving them home alone for three days. But we slept remarkably well.

After posting the picture of Valentine, I got a little worried that you wouldn’t believe how nice the Eileen’s kitties are. I offer this video of Saska playing with string as proof. Unlike Bentley or Vespa, this kitty doesn’t try to maim or tear apart the toy; she just frolics.
