De-Crapify
You buy a shiny, brand-new PC. You expect it to be clean, lean, and mean. Wrong! Any new PC these days will be full of “craplets” - software installed for no reason other than that the PC maker gets paid to put it there. (Speaking from excruciatingly recent experience, Dell is particularly notorious for this.)
Enter the new computer’s knight in shining armor - the PC Decrapifier. This free program removes dozens of craplets automatically. Yea!
Comments:
Dell started making trialware free computers recently. I don’t remember what they are calling them, but Dell is at least responding to the consumers complaint. Granted it has taken them a decade to do so, but a response is better late than never…
Getting back to the customers might be one of the big initiatives that Michael Dell re-invoked when he returned to Dell.
Save yourself the headache and buy a Mac. Vote with your dollars.
