My newest invention

Blame my study partner, Kevin. He noticed when large social groups get together, it is nearly impossible to get group consensus on where to eat dinner. His solution was the dinner die. Each side has a different cuisine on it. All you have to do is give it a roll and follow the advice.
We laughed about the idea, and I largely dismissed. Then one day I found a pattern for making a dodecahedron out of paper and the idea came to life. He could hardly believe his eyes when I presented him the first one. It includes Italian, Mexican, Indian, Thai, Chinese, sushi, pub food, pizza, cook-at-home, cocktails, burgers, and “Kevin’s choice.”
Here’s the pattern; click on it to open a 8.5x11” PDF. To make your own, just cut on the solid lines and fold on the dotted ones. (You might also want to substitute “Kevin’s choice” with something else.) It goes together the easiest if you glue the beer last.
Nick has insisted that we keep the prototype. If it lands on “Kevin’s choice,” he wants to call Kevin for his advice.
