Why didn’t anyone tell me Risk takes about as long to play as Monopoly? Nick (yellow) and I (green and red) are two days into this game and the end isn’t even close. He still controls two continents! Of course, I have all day to stare at the board and plot strategy, while he is at work. It won’t be long now! I think I’ll start a two prong attack on South America next.

Apparently, if you play by the rules Monopoly ends faster.

Also, I just wanted to say that I have that exact same Risk set. I bought it at a garage sale for $10 and that’s the best $10 I ever spent.

Beef up Central America defenses first, then attack South America, then take Austrailia. wink
