Snake in the Grass

Bentley with his prize

Will wonders never cease?!

Our cats bring home the usual - birds, mice, and the occasional mole. Once they even managed to capture and kill a small rabbit.

I never thought (until Sunday, that is) that they would go after a snake. This one played dead very successfully. Bentley tossed it around for about a half an hour before losing interest. He went back to look for it later only to find it had slithered under a protective layer of grass near the yuccas out of his reach.

Blue Angels II

Scientists from the Evangelical Center For Faith-Based Reasoning are now asserting that the long-held “theory of gravity” is flawed, and they have responded to it with a new theory of Intelligent Falling.

“Things fall not because they are acted upon by some gravitational force, but because a higher intelligence, ‘God’ if you will, is pushing them down,” said Gabriel Burdett, who holds degrees in education, applied Scripture, and physics from Oral Roberts University. more...
