Proof is in the pictures
Here are a few pictures to give you an idea of what New Orleans looks like...comments to follow after dinner.

The first trailer park we visited was small. As you can see, these are no bigger than your average RV. It’s hard to believe families have been living here for more than two years.

In the larger trailer parks, people are living in single-wides.

This is as much notice as the trailer residents received regarding the formaldehyde out-gassing.

In the lower 9th ward, nine out of 10 houses look like this.

The second house from the left has been redone, but the others are still boarded up.

Some people were fortunate enough to have their trailers delivered to their property. They are close by and can work on the house while they have somewhere to live.

You can see how people might have reacted to the carpet baggers after the civil war when you see this on a street of demolished houses.
