Happy New Year

Out with the old and in with the new. Nice in theory except that Nick and I still have sparklers leftover from our wedding more than four years ago, despite our best efforts on New Year’s Eve. (I’m shocked actually that these haven’t fallen victim to the repeated flooding in our basement. I guess we were meant to burn them.)
